credit goes to daliscar for allowing me to use his photo The Old Mill .You can see Chris's original image below, anyway in my version i decided to go for a more vintage/aged kind of effect. But to do this i removed all traces(or tried too) of modern society (the bridge)
A total of five images were used (including chris's photo) this consisted of two stock photos by these artists rinataz / rainbows-stock you can see their images below. Finally i used two photos from my own personal collection, then created the animated rippled water effects using Squirlz.

Oh wow! This is very interesting. I like the trickling water. I think the building in the back ground could use some more definition of it own. The furthest building looks as though it's blending in with the sky and I'm not sure that's how it's supposed to look? Is it foggy? I can not see what's on the top of that building but I can see there is something. Perhaps consider strengthening the buildings so they stand out more. The rippling water will continue to capture the effect I believe you're going for but the the buildings should stand out more. Define them and separate them from the sky so they hold their own significance in this picture and in turn, it will add more to the water. They will compliment each other without taking anything away from one another.
